A live recording for the week. So sorry it’s so dark! I guess I need to work more on the lighting, huh?
Thanks for being here, hope this is mildly enjoyable. I had a day that went south—only in my head, to be honest. It was in actuality a perfectly fine day. You know how that goes!
But: now that I drew big, and drew some animals, I feel better!
Your lighting is fine, I like it and I'm picky. Creative arts lighting can be more dramatic than news, public affairs, etc. The link below is an example from the Masterclass series, the main difference is a strategic splash of light on the books behind him to the side. It works well with his depth of field. You don't need all the quick cuts and b-roll .... he's talking about his work, you're creating art in "real time!" LOVE it, look forward to your posts every day. Particularly cats and clouds. https://youtu.be/vy9b-L7uKqk?si=Q-Q0rNsWfQS1kOWO
What a pleasure watching you work. Again, sending this to the young artists in my life - who have opined they love them. Pastels are dear to me - for a time they were my favorite medium. Love this and look forward to more!
