Thank you, Joyce!

What is great to see is just because a line is drawn or a colour chosen doesn’t mean that it’s there for the finished drawing. BTW: I’ll not call your drawings cartoons! 🙏👏👏🍾🥂

Duke Ellington? Glen Miller? Love that these (drawing and music) go hand in hand! Lovely

It's humbling for a writer to see that, with a few skillfully place lines a talented illustrator can achieve what it would take 10,000 words to convey. And even if words could somehow reproduce what you so in this drawing, it still would have the emotional impact. I love to write, am in an endless search for words and phrases that provide new ways of seeing familiar things. Your drawings are masters at that.

Blayney, You are very kind. I personally love what drawing can do and how it often is hard to explain....I see it in others' work and love it when I do see it. These subway drawings are a personal favorite, I love capturing people in their daily life and doing normal things...I try to get their essence.

Stomping at the Savoy? Anyway, love it, as usual. When I read "Jumpsuit," though, I was thinking of another person and another color: orange. xo

Glenn Miller was a favorite of mother. Hope I got that right. My memory fades.

If I were that woman I'd buy your drawing, frame it and give it pride of place in my house! It's stunning 💛

Thank you! I wish I could do these digital ones so that there are "originals." I do make prints sometimes if people ask. I am drawing on paper every now and then on the subway...

She was, and is, I'm sure!

Well, you captured her. BTW I saw Barbie yesterday and I’m still digesting the experience. There were some hilarious lines. I fell asleep during the first half (my solution to overstimulation).

Yes, there were some hilarious lines. Particularly for Ryan Gosling.

So lovely. It made me imagine watching a whole animated movie done like this.
