I hope you have a great "vacation" there. Linda and I love Maine. We used to take the kids there every summer, and later our daughter went to Bowdoin. But now, living in Pittsfield where New York State is just over the big hill to the West, Maine is a haul, and now we want to explore places new and close to us in the Berkshires and in Eastern New York, southern Vermont, and northern Connecticut. Missing the ocean, though..

P.S. I think of seals as being content, I don’t know why...maybe because they look for mackerel pretty much all day (don’t swim where there are lots of fish in Maine) and pop up with curiosity to check out the boats but duck under water and are gone and lay on the rocky beaches of uninhabited islands. I want that life. 😅
