All three very good ones! I, too, especially like the hail globe, which, like others have said, made me laugh out loud. "So true" for the jousting knights. And "Awww, I'm game" for the dog.
Given the collapse of faith in institutions and the cynicism bred thereby, convicting Trump of this or that crime will only make things worse. I’m sorry to say that, but there’s no point in kidding ourselves. America’s basic national unity has been shattered and our debased political class seems incapable of leading us to a better place.
It will be a difficult time when he gets convicted, and I think he will. But I think I'm more optimistic than you for the future of the two sides getting along.
