trump is signing tons of executive orders in the hope that no one will pay attention to any single one. He promised not to rob Social Security and Medicare. His promises aren't worth shit and neither is he. He is a stain on the presidency. Putting him in the corner is a good idea but don't ignore what he does. Several states are suing his attempt to eliminate the birthright to citizenship. Of course, it's in the constitution. He will try to destroy NATO and make the US the most reviled nation in the world. Mexico will not acquiesce to his plan to send troops to find the drug cartels. Canada does not want to be the 51st state or have to deal with tariffs. trump is a pain in the butt for many nations, especially Ukraine.
Just my opinion I say this. In a moral struggle, as we now face, there are two dangers of human reaction. As described, paralysis and inaction, or simple reaction and begin to resemble the thing you oppose.
The only true option is to use what you love most. Stay true to all your core aspirations and values in what you do. Let it shine. That is your strength.

What he wants is for us TO get depressed; TO try not to keep abreast of the ruin he's undertaking; TO bury our heads in the sand, ostrich-like until four years are over. Would that we could, but we can't. He's everywhere. Like air. But we can breathe in without taking large gasps. And yes, we have to include all the joy and wonderful things we can when we can. I had two pieces of Carvel ice cream cake for lunchr...to celebrate my birthday. I wasn't waiting until after dinner. Seize the moment....and the cake. Thanks, as always, for keeping us informed.
