Seasonal Silly Cartoon Saturday
How are your people watching skills?
We are headed to the shores of Maine for the weekend. Thinking about that in anticipation last week, I drew the above.
Off-season beach lovers are a different breed than locals or seasonal humans, I think. The gulls are getting good at their people watching, I’d say. Tell-tale signs are the blankets, scarves and a knit hat. I don’t show it here, but maybe a mug of hot chocolate or a hot toddy. Sadly for the gulls, probably no fries.
But Maine is a more nuanced coastal habitat, I must admit.

Safe travels
Nothing better than the beach and the ocean, regardless of the weather. My wife and I are big fans of sweaters and jackets at the beach because it means we are likely the only ones there! Enjoy Maine.
