And an apple on the #1 train
It’s October! Time to go pick apples!
Maybe apple picking is not your thing, but you need apples. So you go get one big apple instead, to save time. You could go to the grocery store, but then my whole concept here wouldn’t make sense.
Here’s something that may or may not make sense. I saw this apple riding the subway today. It had pretty good balance, even with a bite taken out.

The great big apple makes sense. I love your drawings! When I was a kid up near Chicago, we would drive up to Wisconsin to an apple orchard to get my favorite Jonathan apples! We didn’t pick them but watched how they were sorted and shined up for sale.
After moving to Florida many years ago now I have not been able to find Jonathans any more. There are some good ones, (we do oranges and strawberries) but I guess I miss the adventure out with Mom and my siblings!
