The great big apple makes sense. I love your drawings! When I was a kid up near Chicago, we would drive up to Wisconsin to an apple orchard to get my favorite Jonathan apples! We didn’t pick them but watched how they were sorted and shined up for sale.
After moving to Florida many years ago now I have not been able to find Jonathans any more. There are some good ones, (we do oranges and strawberries) but I guess I miss the adventure out with Mom and my siblings!
Same here, Terri. Our family (in Chicago) made an apple-picking trip to Wisconsin every year. We ate as we picked, had apple cider & cinnamon donuts (warm from the oven!) in the little gift shop, and came home with enough apples to keep us in applesauce and apple pies for a year.
We took kids to orchard every year - together - and with their classes in grade school! Loved it though no picking - just baskets of those beauties to take home along with apply pies and apply butter is ball jars.
Teachers warned children to not feed the horses. Of course little Jeffrey in son’s class didn’t listen - he rarely did - and his mother was letting him.. so when the horse threw up partially digested apples over both of them the other moms (me and sis included) spun around and sputtered, trying not to laugh. 🍎🍎🍎🍎😄
My latest favorite picture is of the great grandbaby devouring a red delicious in the grocery store. Apparently there's nothing like a cold apple twice as big as your hand when you're teething.
Ah yes, apple trees. Don’t have those here on St. Croix, U S Virgin Islands. But we can pick bananas, avocados, papayas and yummy mangoes just to name a few. Every place has something special and different. And I don’t miss cold weather or driving on snow and ice. Keep on cheering up our days with drawings.
I remember trying to draw a pregnant apple in the sky based on the Apple logo by reversing the bite into a swollen womb. It was supposed to be suggesting that Steve Jobs was coming back soon. I couldn't make it work, though.
HAHAHAHAHHA
Whew! I needed that. Talk about an apple a day........... :D

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. In China I heard a man say, "An onion a day keeps everyone away."
Talk about safe distancing…

That apple-on-the-train has a sad sad story to tell.
