Briefly in Yonkers, NY, I saw this man who, like me, was waiting for a train. I used a different stylus that has a bolder line. Usually, I use an Apple Pencil. What I used for this sketch was the stylus that was made by the app I started using when I began live-drawing in 2016, and still use to this day. The app was called Fifty Three, but was bought by WeTransfer and now is called Paper. The stylus is cool, looks like a drafting pencil.
I still have that pencil, too. Fifty Three was the beginning of fun digital drawing for me! So glad to have the Apple pencil now - but that bolder line is very cool, too!
I have arguments with my Apple Pencil, asking it to perform like a trusty HB point. I love my iPad, but it feels so slick. Not the cool tactile experience of hand resting on paper, and graphite scratching along the toothy surface.
I like it. Looks like you were able to get both thick and thin lines from the same stylus!
Thanks! Yes, the app also allows for change in line thickness.

It really has a unique feel, doesn't it? They don't make them anymore, but there are some on amazon....
I can’t pass the Yonkers stop on the way to and from Kingston without thinking of Horace Vandergelder in Hello Dolly. 😁😁😁💙💙💙💙
I saw Hello Dolly many moons ago, with Pearl Baily, actually! But I don't recall the reference!
Ah, the Hello Dolly that runs through my head is the 1969 film adaptation with Babs and Walter Matthau. 😁
