Thanx for your beautiful work, observations and praise for KH. If she does not win it will be because Trump's racist/anti-woman ways remain deeply embedded in the country's economic system and culture.
We have to call out Trump always and connect with those who are angry and scared. In 64 many hundreds of whites joined communities of color across Mississippi and the south to fight for the vote. Some activists were murdered (Brothers Cheney, Schwerner and Goodman) and many many more demonstrated amazing courage and commitment.
The civil rights era has never ended. White folx across the world are trying to support commmunities of color. We will need to build non-racist communities--no matter who wins in November. May we find ways to open the borders to the poor and get rid of the electoral college that is intended to hobble democracy anyway. (See Heather Cox Richardson among others)
