I have three things today.
First, two news items: I am happy to know that Congressional Democrats are once again trying to get the ERA into law. The NY Times headline is, they are trying to “revive it.” I think it should be an amendment, particularly since Roe V Wade was struck down. And the FDA approved the first ever over-the-counter birth control. This is great news, I hope it is affordable and easy to find for all women who need it.
Secondly, here are two slightly odd, captionless drawings for you, ones that didn’t quite become what one typically thinks are complete ideas. But maybe there’s something there, maybe they make you smile. Sometimes I put these types of drawings aside and, on another day, rework them; this time I decided to send them into The New Yorker.
Finally, how do you feel about my live drawing in the morning? Here is a poll to get your feedback! Thanks!
Have a good Thursday!
I’m looking forward to watching them and hope you will continue to allow us to look over your shoulder.
Also I’m loving both cartoons. As a cloud watcher I know the feeling, and there is an inevitability about the chefs run - because what’s left to do with chefs but that at this point?
But the top one is already a hot meme! AI. We have an inanimate object engaging in social interaction from the cloud. Just change the caption to “Wanna chat?”
