You are channeling me here, Liza. (I’m the less talented one that’s all) 🤙🏼

Trust me, L.

Thankful for you. Seriously.

Stewart's Apple show was terrible! Unfunny. I think his humor has suffered because he presents himself as a moral voice—maybe even THE moral voice. A self-serious comic is an unfunny comic.

I didn't see the Apple show. I don't disagree, but if he can motivate people than great.

I think that is part of why I don’t like him to death, but he is good as a motivator.

I support your idea of getting a female Jon Stewart on the air.

There have been attempts at female comedians hosting such shows. They just can't seem to get much traction. I think that humor helps me see things from a different prism. I enjoy almost all the late night shows, but I only watch snippets on YouTube.

I am in the body biz so when smart people like Stewart do not even look at this drastic change to the American body I find there is something phony about their commentary. The same with religion where smart people refuse to admit the con. We won't face the religion con until the end of this century and Trump knows this and benefits.

Thanks for the quote from Jon Stewart. For some reason, I have never watched him but plan to in the future. Colbert has always been my favorite of the current bunch - he's smarter and beautifully quick-witted (great writers!), plus he introduced us all to the fabulous Jon Batiste! Back in the day (ha!) I loved Steve Allen (brilliant man gone way to soon), Jack Paar and Johnny Carson. Those 3 had really interesting guests and not just people who came on to plug a book or movie.

Not a fan of Stewart either. , but glad he is back... he has a big fan base who is very politically responsive.
