terrific cartoons. But if Democrats are calling me an elitist I’m still mad at them. I am loyal, but mad, that they can’t seem to get their messaging right.
Some in the media seem to be assembling like rabid dogs, hoping to find a wounded animal, so they wouldn’t have to put the work in, hunting. Ed O’Keefe’s belligerent aggression against White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre today was appalling. What happened to manners. Bullying does not speak well for the News Division of CBS, he was truly abhorrent.
Not that I think it will be published, but, I wrote and sent a letter to the editor of the New York Times. I subscribe to the digital newspaper, but I stopped opening the app. Headline after headline is about calls for Biden to step down and on and on! We need to hear more support for Biden and more airing of Trump’s Project 2025. Yes, I know, he doesn’t know anything about Project 2025. He never met the woman he raped either, but there was enough evidence to convict him! I say “You go Biden! You can beat that pathological liar and would-be dictator !!”
Well, if the important thing is to defeat Trump, then Biden has to be elbowed aside. Because if he remains as the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Trump will win. And in addition to that, the election could be a comprehensive debacle for the Democrats.
I love these cartoons! Especially the one about pundits under her bed. I’m beginning to think that most of the media are obsessed with one thing - their bottom line - and their belief that chaos leads to more clicks and more $$$, democracy be damned. I subscribed to the Philadelphia Inquirer today (although I don’t live in PA) for their courage in headlining that it’s Trump who should step down. I’m kind of amazed at the pundits’ arrogance in thinking that candidate selection is up to them. I fear the pundits under our beds!
OK, I got my belly laugh of the day. "I think there are pundits under my bed." Oh my dog, I love it. I asked my cats what do you think? They looked at me, yawned, then curled up and took a nap.
Hmmm, well, ignoring the polls because they deliver unwelcome news may be an effective coping mechanism, but it’s not how elections are won. In the present case, the Democratic Party’s best hope of retaining the White House and avoiding a down-ticket rout is to give Joe Biden the boot and replace him with someone who can complete two sentences without detouring into the Twilight Zone.
But perhaps the damage is done. The White House inner circle and the senior leadership of the Democratic Party engaged in a conspiracy to cover up the sad reality of Biden’s decline, with much of the media as willing accomplice. He was sharp as a tack, they told us—in Joe Scarborough’s formulation, the best version of Biden ever. All that was a pack of lies, as we saw on debate night and after. Why should anyone believe what these people say now?
I didn't know that culottes were back in fashion. You are my new wardrobe coordinator. Lol. Your cartoons are spot on. If Biden passes away in office, Kamela would be our first female president. Are Supreme Court justices above the law? If not, we could put a few in the hoosgow for not reporting gifts and lying to Congress under oath at their nomination hearing. Or for the appearance of rape. Morning ramblings. You inspire me. Keep up the good work.
I love these, every one of them.
Thank you, Patris.

Very wise advice & perfect drawings!
Thanks!
I think there are pundits under my bed, too!
Yes, the media love conflict and negativity. I don't, but I love these two cartoons. ❤️ 🙏
Thanks!

There is a wounded animal…

I just watched it. Yikes.

Thank you. I will check out the PHilly news!
Agree it’s time to bash the bad guy and let Biden do his magic - he’s got what it takes! And great folks all around him.
About the women cartoonists - what are you raising money for? Is t there support for you on this idea? Details in some fashion might help some of us….
If you click where it says "Here is the link" printed in red, it will take you to the Kickstarter website which has a description of the project.
Thanks Ramelle. The details are in the link, but also on the website. We have a great team (so far two women and a man of great experience) and I need to pay them and the cinematographer we will hire soon! This money is to help us actually make the movie! Here is the website: https://www.womenlaughingfilm.com/ and here is the fundraiser: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/womenlaughingfilm/women-laughing?ref=creator-nav

The first two cartoons are among your best.
Thank you, Steve!
I just contributed to your Kickstarter and hope you hit the goal soon!
Thanks, Ted!

My sentiments too! Thank you!
