A few weeks ago, I was contacted by the editorial department for CNN.com. The editor wanted to include me in an opinion piece by answering this question: what can be done to fix what is broken and restore faith in democracy? I saw your excellent cartoon on Instagram a few days ago. I enjoyed it and agreed with what I interpreted to be one of the implied sentiments… when we communicate and engage with each other we frequently find we that we share more in common than not.
When I viewed it today among the CNN opinion pieces the added title speaks volumes in addressing the question CNN posed: “what can be done to fix what is broken and restore faith in democracy?
