For a long time β¦ way back in the olden days of blogs and Twitter, until it got run into the ground at the X, my dog(s) had a blog and a Twitter accountβ¦ dogwalkblog β¦ anyway, it was fun for a whileβ¦
On the topic of animals as humans--years ago, I filled in a form for a rebate on cat food and put my cat's name on it. In due time I got a check for $1.00 made out to the cat. I took it to the bank and asked how they'd like it endorsed. They sighed, cashed it, and told me to go buy catnip.
π my dog was once quoted in the newspaper from his social mediaβ¦ in fairness to the reporter, though, he wrote as if he was a person. But nobody verified anything by calling or emailing first.
Thatβs cute as hell, Liza! My pups used to ask me the same thing. They wanted to play. I was busy in my phone. Now, theyβre gone and missed deeply!
May you reunite on the Rainbow Bridge π Iβve got a couple of great pups waiting there for there me as well. I think dogs have an infinite capacity to forgive and forget. ( I canβt speak for cats though :)
So true! Thatβs the way itβs headed. Addiction to screens seems to be affecting more and more people these days, especially the kids! Luckily dogs are still immune!
Love this. My dog tries to knock my phone right out of my hand, as did my last dog. Great insight these canines have!! I put down the phone. Better for me and them.

Dogs just know how to have fun and make the most of any given moment. ππππΎπΎ
β€οΈthis!
Tweet 'em, text 'em, play a game, or just lie on the beach; it's a three day weekend.
βIf cats could text, they wouldnβt.β
I donβt know about dogs. I think they might.
Love the comic!
Great idea I think my left hand is evolving into a phone holster. Iβll try to put it down.
Perhaps she should limit its screen time....

sigh, my dachshund doesn't need a phone. He can bark his messages over a range of what feels like miles.
