I don’t see a need to comment on the indictment of Trump and others in Georgia yesterday, other than I am glad it’s happening. We stayed up late to watch Fani Willis talk about her indictments of the 19 individuals, including Trump. What a tough woman. According to CNN, Trump has to be in the courtroom every single day during the trial. It’s so interesting to picture how this trial of many people will work. I must say Fani Willis is nothing, if not abmitious. I admire her.
I wish I could be there and live-draw the trial. When I drew the trial in Manhattan, the Carrol v Trump Rape Trial, I just was let in. It was a a shock. Something tells me it won’t be that easy for any of these indictment trials. If any of you have a suggestion, let me know.
This is news from last week, but I find it of interest: the US obtained a search warrant for Trump’s Twitter.
I, for one, would not pay to see the musical.
My heart goes out to the people of Hawaii. It is beyond understanding how devastating it must be. Here is a link to ways one can donate to help the victims of the Maui wildfires. Hawaii is on my list of places I really want to visit someday.
Finally, here is my most recent drawing in my cloud gazing series.
I hope you’re having a good Tuesday! See you tomorrow.
Jean Carroll was in my HS Class. We were not friends, she was with a whole other group of kids that came from a different Jr High. She was very popular and in many activities. I was so happy with the verdict. I think it’ll be a miracle if she can collect any award $.
Just want encourage anyone who can afford it to donate to a relief organization via your link. I'm so sad and sorry for all that's happened there and all the people in need. Also, I hope the RICO indictment sticks with a minimum 5 year jail term.
