Boy, do I wish I could have been in the Manhattan courtroom today to draw Trump testifying on the witness stand in the civil trial about his business. It sounded intense, and I can just imagine the facial expressions exchanged, the sideways glances and smirks. The body language! Words were exchanged. sarcasm tossed around as well as accusations and lies.
I don’t really know what this drawing means, just felt like drawing it. I heard one of the correspondants who was in the room during the trial comment on how Trump sat there with his hands in his lap, sometimes clasped together. It was a day where he was not in control, really, and attacked the Judge and District Attorney while on the witness stand. He and his team are doing their best to make it beneficial for Trump with all their on-camera spin. You can read about the coverage here.
Polls out today in some key swing states do not look good for Biden, it’s very worrisome. I just do not understand it at all.
I hope you all are having a good start to the week, see you tomorrow.
Love this drawing so much!! The background is like an angry red vortex (of his own creation) swirling around threatening to drown him.
And then I noticed, it can also be seen as a brilliantly stylized
Q!
His posture and expression are perfection.
Thank you very much. I also wish you could get into the courtroom.
We wish you had been there, too. I can't tell you how sick and tired I am of seeing his face and listening every single solitary day about his trials and tribulations. It's like a slow drip Chinese torture. The press should gather all the info on him and have a segment once a week for those who want it. So the rest of us don't have to endure him. We could have "T-free news." I'd pay for that for sure.
