Trump Questions Kamala Harris' Heritage
Outrageous
On a panel at the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Chicago with three female Black journalists questioning him, Trump said that he had been aware of Vice President Harris’ Indian identity, but didn’t know she was Black:
“I’ve known her a long time indirectly, and she was always of Indian heritage, only promoting her Indian heritage. I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black. And now she wants to be known as Black. I don’t know, is she Indian or is she Black? I repect either one, but she obviously doesn’t. Because she was Indian all the way and then she made a turn, and she became a Black woman.”
When I heard he was going to this convention, and I wondered why. I’m glad he did because he was exposed in several ways. The above statement, and he doubled down on his comment from the debate about “Black jobs.” He said, “Coming from the border are millions and millions of people coming to take Black jobs.” He repeated it several times in different ways.
His arrogance is just incredible. Here are more snippets of the interview and his insults, racism and innuendos.
He lied repeatedly about inflation, numbers of immigrants, his record, Biden’s record, Harris’ record.
He insulted the venue (bad equipment, mics in “lousy shape”), claiming he was invited under false pretences. I hear racism in this.
After ABC’s Rachel Scott suggested in a question that many in the Black community thought he should not be appearing at the convention because of the racist things he has said in the past (and she listed a number), Trump said it was a very “rude, hostile introduction, I don’t know why anyone would do that.”
“I have been the best president for the Black polulation since Abraham Lincoln.” He most certainly is not.
“I just won the Miami case, the biggest case.” He did not win it.
He stated that Kamala Harris “failed her law exam, maybe she’d fail a congnitive test, too!” This is sexist and racist.
When asked, were the 140 people who assaulted officers on January 6th patriots, deserving of pardons? Would you pardon them?
“Oh absolutely.”
He says these sound bites for his followers to latch onto, then spread like wildfire. The sheer volume of his lies and rhetoric he hopes will flood out facts.
Flood out facts.
Confuse people.
Frighten them into thinking he is the only one who can “save” them.
We all know he behaves like this, says these things. It’s time for any and all normalization to stop. The reason why I drew the above from this interview is I want people to see and read what he’s saying.
The crowd at this event seemed to audibly disagree and gasp at times at his statements. Some shouted back at him in angry replies. Time for the media to do this in a big way. I know the Harris campaign will use these statements to the utmost.

That orange-headed poor excuse for a human being wouldn't know the truth if it came up and punched him in the jaw. I watched part of his appearance before quitting in disgust. Does he ever stop talking? Does he ever stop making up lies with every breath he takes? Where are those "70 million" people "invading our country" at the border? And he defines "Black jobs" that are being stolen as "any job a Black person has." This is an idiotic "definition." But what can anyone expect from a bona fide idiot? And he observes that "there are a lot of Black people in the audience." What a brilliant observation? There is absolutely nothing that comes out of his mouth that bears the slightest resemblance to the truth. He believes -- he knows -- that anything he says is the truth. That's what we all were taught when we were growing up, right? Oh, save us from this non-human creature! Please get everybody you know to vote for Kamala Harris and rid our country of this one-person pestilence. ¶Okay, another rant over.
