We love NYC having visited 5 times in the last 12 plus years. We stay mostly in a VRBO APARTMENT in different parts of the city; upper east side twice, Brooklyn and the East Village once each. Last was in midtown because of ease to get to the BJ KING tennis center for the U S Open. We have explored many areas, NEVER had an issue anywhere. We ride buses and the subway rarely using taxis and walk, walk, walk. There is a definite vibe about NYC like nowhere else. We’re too old to live there but love to visit. We have met some very interesting and pleasant people in our wandering. We’ve seen great theatre and concerts and the opera “Carmen” that have me goosebumps when soldiers came in on horseback. Strangers have given us wonderful tips leading to; The Cloisters and boat trips around Manhattan. DJT needs to be disgraced and kicked out of the City!
