Funny how many people were out in the cold when Trump brought the inauguration indoors.

These photos brought me to tears. I pray the people can make a difference.

Be stouthearted and wait for the Lord. Patience is a virtue with practical applications. Your prayers are excellent kindling. I can feel the fire of love in my heart already.

Beautiful Lisa. Please post more pictures! I totally agree about the feeling of a camera around your neck vs clutching a phone in hand. And these shots are as good or better than many I’ve seen by dedicated photographers. They capture the feel of the march and the humanity of the participants. And the little snsps of color here and there are key features to draw in my attention. So glad you posted these. Can’t wait to see what you get tomorrow.

Thank you! Unfortunately I will not be there today, I just couldn't do the extreme cold. The People's March was in the 40's, today it's supposed to be in the low 20's and feel like 9 degrees. Can't draw in those conditions!

Liza, what marvelous photos and short videos. Your pics took me right to the scene and they could be combined into a book as other photographers have done. Your camera eye is as sharp as your drawing eye. Thank you so much.

Oh I love this visual story you captured here. I'm with you on using the camera. I will often use my phone for the unexpected things I want to capture quickly as I move through the day but there is something about the camera - the weight and feel of it in your hand - that encourages a slowing down and truly seeing. In these images, you capture - as Marian said in her comment - "...the humanity of the participants." I found myself leaning in and really looking; I spent time with each image and video. What a gift you gave us in sharing these images - thank you.

Thank you for being there to capture the march in photos and drawings. These are the people who want to save America. They are willing to brave the cold, travel, and expense to share their perspectives on what makes our democracy worth preserving.

These photos are terrific; like being there. I love the older ladies on the bench sharing food. God bless them, and the mom walking on the side with her son, and the pink pussy hats on the senior couple. Nothing like some awesome photos as a testimony of the day and the people willing to protest. Thanks so much for this.

Liza, I think you did a fantastic portrayal of capturing the emotion and feel of the march. Your live drawings are always fascinating to watch and is quite admirable to see you do it live yesterday with journalist friend whose name I can’t remember right now though she asked interesting thoughtful questions and got passionate answers from young strong girls that gives me hope. Your photos and video are a look into the really diverse citizens of all ages who resolutely oppose the FELON taking office. To see hundreds, thousands of people all with solemn attentive faces says it all and how the MILLIONS of us not there feel. When I think of what each individual did to be there, how much time and effort they put towards getting the supplies and making their patriotic RESISTANCE signs it is encouraging and uplifting. Loved the last photo of you when you were young. I too had long blond hair and have loved photography since getting my first Brownie camera to saving 23 Blue Chip stamp books that I got my Yashika twin lens reflex with. THANK YOU both!!!! 🤗

During The People's March 2025, how powerful is the scene showing 2 wise women sharing a bite to eat, next to a bright pink umbrella with " Love Your Neighbor" painted around the edge. Peace in War.
