One of the things I remember being taught as I grew up: "To be happy, take your work seriously-- but not yourself!" And that's what I see in this team of Harris and Walz. They seem to be the epitome of serious about their work--joyous about being alive. I agree it's what we need now. And you captured it perfectly! Again! thanks.
This artwork is ‘right on time’, Liza! I watched the entire event on television. MSN! I haven’t been this excited about our Democratic candidates in a long time.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t bring up an important topic.
Trump has had three election deniers put in place at the state level here in Georgia, as well as at county levels. Their specific purpose is to NOT CERTIFY the election results if Trump loses. If Trump has these people in place in this battleground state, you can bet he has them in place in other states as well. People need to heed to this. We need everyone we can get to the polls to vote. There can be no doubt that these Trumpublicans be replaced, and Trump be soundly defeated!
As for echo, I am guessing you use a laptop where its microphone picks up your voice and you listen via its wee speakers. The sound coming from the speakers is also gettingt picked up by the microphone, maybe with a microsecond delay in that feedback loop. You can overcome this by using lightweight headphones or earbuds, plugged into the laptop's socket made for this.. (No need for an expensive headset if it's mostly for speaking. I use Philips on-the-ear phones and before I lost hearing, used cheap but excellent Sony earbuds, which are still made. About $14.)
Then the microphone will pick up your voice but not the sound output from the laptop. That will be going to your ears.
There are other digital futzy reasons for echo happening. Dunno what to do about that. but "feedback" is easily managed.
We use my older Bose wired in-ear earbuds and put the cord behind us rather than in front where it can get in the way. Think like what you see on news hosts and guests. You can hardly see them but most important, they do cut down on echo and feedback for the reason Andrew so well described above.
Love your art! If that’s an actual large room behind you, it’s too big. Sound is bouncing around and making echoes. Get a couple of soft surfaced folding privacy screens and put them behind you. Should at least dampen the echo.
Purrrrr - fect!!!!! Absolutely Joy, Liza!
Love the drawings. Love the JOY! Just what we need!
It is so refreshing to see smiling faces, genuine enthusiasm, and feel joy as well.
This is perfect. Just what we’re feeling. Hoping that it lasts.
Love it!!
Joy indeed!
My first response was let us dance, it's called the Harris Walz. 123,123. Not unlike boxing.
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. ,,^..^,,
It’s wonderful

Ahh... a long blue tie!
Captured with artistic perfection 💜
Now THIS is a t-shirt for the ages! Maybe after the election???
Love this drawing! It captures history as it happens, all of us seeing it similarly and truly, because of you. Marvelous.

Thanks! I will try some of these solutions!
