I never heard of yoga blocks; must ask Google. So, of course, I love all the toons, but especially the cat one. If I had yoga blocks, I'd put them on a table close to the cats so they could swat them off and onto the ground, like they do with everything else. The only thing I tend to repurpose are my manuscripts. LOL. Yoga blocks....hmmmm....let me see..... How's your new furbaby anyway?
I have an older pair and a lightweight portable pair for travel. We used them all the time in Iyengar style hatha yoga. They bring the floor closer to your hands 😁. You can also sit on them sometimes, though they’re usually too small for that. We even lay back on the to massage our shoulder blades (carefully) and it felt great!
But mostly to help in standing poses and give stable place for hands to rest when limbs do not stretch all the way to the floor.
Just something else not needed to stash somewhere out of the way. Consumerism has really gone too far. That being said, apologies to all those who love them.
As someone who practiced Yoga for many years, I still have my purple block way up on a shelf in my closet. I love love love your cheery & colorful take on them. You always manage to see things through a special window of fun and lightness! Those of us out here reap the benefit of your talent and generosity!
Legos for grown-ups

I especially like the cat one, too! My blocks are made of cork, not as colorful as Liza’s but very lightweight.
Fun for kids to stack and knock down. People do sit on them like you’ve drawn! Supposedly a way to strengthen core ...?
Are they foam?? If flung by a little brother at his sister, will she make him pay??
Inquiring troublemaker wants to know...
They are light, but probably could hurt if flung!
I am amazed at how precise cats can be jumping on things when they want to be! I can actually see them deciding to sit on top of those blocks!

Not older, but wooden. Auto correct changing words again. They are older though but lasts and lasts
Hand weights/dumbbells make excellent book ends. I hadn't heard of yoga blocks before, but love the cartoons.

Funny!
I've never heard of yoga blocks... they're very versatile!

Thank you so much, Sandy!!! Very kind of you to say that, it makes me happy.
