I am not sure what to write about today. I figure I can be open with you about that. We have an ongoing crisis in Ukraine, abortion is still not legal in many US states, women’s rights and LGBTQ+ rights are threatened, Trump and his “clown car” (as someone in the hearing last week described his people) are still at large, not to mention other crisises in the global community that are not on the front page of the NY Times and why don’t I know about them???? ….what else? And I am a humorist?
I used to be up at night wondering how to build something. Now I fly by the seat of my pants and just let it happen. It seems to be working out for me. I sleep easier now!..
I think providing us with cartoons to smile at is pretty Zen. A Zen master was asked what is the most important thing in the universe. His answer? "Buns"!
