I'm afraid we are in a world wide movement toward autocracy. Trump has caught the wave and we will have to use our wits, patience, and decency to support each other and preserve goodness and hope. When we fight, as Kamala said, we win. Love will win in the long run.

I've started by limiting the overflow of negativity from the news (cancelled WoPo, and am on a diet from the 6 o'clock news.) I am going to work more and harder, try to be as kind as possible, put one foot in front of the other until I can walk steady again. And try to help the helpers in any way I can. Sighing a lot today though. And know that we depend on you (no pressure there, LOL) to give it to us straight. xoxoxo

Your drawings are a reflection of how we all are feeling. I had a dream that I was crying, in the middle of the night, but I woke up and was crying. My chest hurts, my head hurts, all of me hurts for real! My dual pacemaker isn't doing me justice today! Sad to say I can't even talk to family right now! My granddaughters are with me in my sorrow too. I worry about their future. I will stay with you as you continue to draw and draw on the strength of your convictions and others. Fred Rogers -some good advice. Look for the helpers, but I can be a helper too. Going back to make a quilt for a little boy, a relative, 5 years old at Philadelphia Children's Hospital. He loves John Deere tractors. He has had a setback but needs to pull through like the tractors on his Grandpa's farm. I guess I need to find a way to pull through the next four years of the chaos that is sure to come. Even though I feel sick there are others in our country that must be scared to death. What must the world think of us - the US?

It is too early for a post-mortem. But it is not too early to plan to take back the House. Beginning tomorrow, the implementation of a plan for 2026 must begin. Start begging for money. Jeff Bezos owes America an apology, and more importantly, money. Find those races that were close and work to reverse those results. It is imperative that America limit Trump's carnage. Until then, we defensively litigate. Lawyers to the barricades!

We will get through it or we won’t. I am committed to helping my green card friends survive. Liza, thanks for caring and cheerleading us so passionately. Caring is the most important thing. Not one iota of caring in Trump and his henchpeople

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and drawing. I’m taking a lot of deep breaths and listening to calm music! I appreciate your “to do” list - and suggestions from others here. The idea of sending vitamins to the liberal SCOTUS justices made me smile - thanks for that!

Step 1. Read "Blueprint for Revolution" by Sroja Popovic.

Step 2. Adapt his non-violent techniques to galvanized communities to your situation.

Step 3. Go out and change your sphere of influence.

Voter suppression has worked and will continue to work. Misogyny and racism are real and deep. The people who voted for Trump want exactly the things he told us he will do.

Thank you for your dedication and spot on drawing for today. It seemed to me you were already in high gear. Sometimes low gear is what is needed when you are helping others. You can use other gears and we will love you just as much! I hope you will always make your health come first! 🤗
