That cartoon is perfect! Should we be enjoying anything right now? Can we enjoy things that once gave us joy? Is it even possible to have a carefree moment that isn’t consumed with disgust-fear-worry-guilt?

Joy is an act of resistance. They are trying to overwhelm us with policies that make us angry and afraid.

Exactly. It's insideous. And hideous.

Karen - I just read this in an article about Catalytic Thinking:

Joy is an act of rebellion. It reminds us of the rainbows we are seeking to create when the storm is over.

Lisa Haderlein, did you ever watch the TV series called "The Waltons"? I recently discovered it on Amazon and I've been watching it. I usually escape by reading a good novel, but I've been having trouble concentrating lately. (I can't imagine why!) Anyway, there's some schmaltzy stuff in that show, but it helps me to relax and forget about tRump for a while. And it is bringing back some good memories of the time when I used to watch it as a teenager. I'm still staying informed, but watching this show is something I do purely for me.

I find myself drawn to The Rockford Files and Quincy from my youth!

I agree, but how many will suffer while we wait for the courts to "trump" him?

Love your cartoon! As for the interview, most of them toss softballs, and Terry Moran is no exception. Trump won't go up against someone really adept and smart like Rachel Maddow or Lawrence O"Donnell.

Can you imagine those interviews? That would be amazing. Won’t happen of course because he’s a coward.

"Such a weasel." It does seem like there's a cartoon in that somewhere!

I love "EVERY person is innocent until proven guilty." It's that simple. And I thought I would send you a silly thought that I woke up with to maybe brighten your day: What a tough job Trump has. He has to dance on the head of a pin, walk on water and still take time to sort out everyone's Christmas shopping. Maybe if we renamed it "Trumpmas," Donnie Two-Dolls could take a break.

Liza, your cartoon person on a swing says "weee" as in "We the People." We are definitely facing bad people as Trump describes, except the worst person in this country right now is the president himself. And we thought Biden showed signs of mental feebleness, while Trump trumps Biden with his incoherent, self-serving, evil streak and mental flabbiness. Keep up your funny but true drawings. And thank you.

It really ticks me off that all of the news media that questioned Biden’s fitness somehow can’t say a word about how completely unfit Trump is.

It is really too bad that the founders didn't include amongst the named reasons for impeachment "completely delusional" and "unable to comprehend the constitution."

Love the cartoon. Don't much like the White House right now, nor all the legislators that refuse to stop backing all the ridiculous things he claims.

''Every person, EVERY PERSON, is innocent until proven guilty.''

CAN'T SAY THIS LOUD ENOUGH, OR LONG ENOUGH.

EVENTUALLY EVERY PERSON WILL HEAR IT.

''Every person, EVERY PERSON, is innocent until proven guilty.''

I love the woman in the swing! My siblings and I spent hours when we were kids swinging on our swings. We almost tipped the whole thing over a couple of times. I'm almost 67 years old, and I've been thinking about getting a swing, just for me. I know it would be relaxing and it would bring back lots of happy memories.

Great cartoon, Liza! Everyday a part of the Constitution gets disrespected or defaced all the while stating how great our country is becoming….”NO!!!”
