So glad to see this - am saving to watch when there’s a quiet moment here to watch. I think I missed your post the other day but caught sight of that snow-suited toddler. Made me laugh. I did that to my son as a 7 week old who had a milk allergy unbeknownst to me - when I started the switch to formula as I prepared to return to work and feared he had a respiratory infection. In May. I put the baby in his bunting - and fell in love with our new pediatrician when he burst out laughing.
Liza, thank you. Watching your video was a transition from work-to-relax for me and I could’ve watched it I think for at least half an hour. Lost track of time and loved it. It was like the paper was coming alive with the faces. And that the faces - many were old friends. Or at least acquaintances. Thank you so much for your gifts. 💕
How interesting the way faces bring dimension to a flat space, even though they too are flat. They command space to live and breathe! I also learned a lot from your eyebrows (how far up, how far down) and those parentheses you sometimes draw around your eyes, to communicate worry or disappointment. Who needs art school when we can watch you draw?
This is great fun to watch! First, I thought it was mostly the mouth that indicated emotion, but then I realized how much the eyes (and eyebrows) conveyed personality, too. Oh, and hair!

Sweet.
Intriguing. Invites your mind to invent a story.

That's lovely to hear, Anne! Thank you! Perhaps I should do a half hour version for people to meditate to....
