I have always had deep respect for the FBI, in this case meaning AFTER J. Edgar got out of it.

Now, I suppose the Bureau will sink into the quagmire of politics, imcluding the illegal retribution that Trump so despeately seeks. Well, let's see: a Republican Congress will probably be subservient to Trump, and SCOTUS will probably do his bidding as well. It is going to be a rough four years. I wish I still had my little house in Quebec.

Thank you for adding the real-time video. I enjoyed seeing how you drew your wonderful cartoon. What stylus and program did you use? Have a safe flight with lots of unusual passengers and flight attendants to draw. 🛄🛫

Paper is the program and the stylus is not made anymore- sorry to say!

I think Wray just wants to get out of Dodge, (and I don't mean DOGE) before it gets even nutsier than it already is. And God Bless Bragg, who is continuing to "Rage, rage against the dying of the light.” He wants to keep the spotlight focused and bright.

Love the drawing. Travel mercies

we won't see someone with the decency and qualifications in the next 4 years as Mr. Wray, sad to hear he won't finish out the next 2 years. I'm sure he won't be the only one to leave S.C. voluntarily in the next few weeks. (not just political people)

Christopher Wray saw the writing on the wall: He either could resign or wait to be fired by Trump. Understandably, he chose to make a dignified exit. And I will add that progressives are deluded if they think he could have remained in office so as to to obstruct the policies of President Trump. It doesn’t work that way. The president is the head of the executive branch and the only member of it who is elected by the people of the United States. As such, the president is entitled to the loyal cooperation of his subordinates in the execution of the policies he sets forth. If a senior official like Wray cannot see his way clear to give that loyal cooperation, his only honorable option is resignation.
