I've been charged with a felony recently for a kindness I committed on January 13. Am representing myself (universally acknowledged to be stupid) and meeting with the prosecutor this coming Tuesday afternoon. I expect to be acquitted if this comes to trial, and if not will probably get a fine instead of jail time. But it I do find myself behind bars, I will be good bad guy, which is not really an uncommon thing. Or am I bad good guy, lying about it?

I would say in most of us. There are some out there in this MAGA movement that I think are beyond redemption. But if they want to prove me wrong than, please by all means.

Sadly, I find this painful in light of Gov Abbott's pardon. A bad bad guy goes scot free and ready to roam again.
