After reading about Tim Walz, I like him a lot. He is a progressive yet down to earth or “folksy” as you described him. He spent a lot of time in China and speaks Mandarin. I hope that he steers Harris away from supplying more military weapons to Israel. He coined the term “weird” to describe Trump. I also hope that he encourages more Democrats to vote.
I was hoping for a Harris/Walz ticket. I want them to start a new dance, the Harris Waltz, since his last name rhymes with waltz. They can use it to waltz into the White House.

The kind of person u would love to have teach you in school, serve with in the military (this from observing my husbands friends) and no nonsense ‘get out of my daughters medical decisions you weirdo’ father I know I had.
I think it's great that she picked Walz. He's from the Midwest, he's not an attorney, he's non nonsense, and he's smart. The fact that he started the whole "weird" thing is awesome. That one word sums the MAGAs up perfectly. Jewish space lasers: weird. Thinking parents should get extra votes for their kids: weird. Trump's hair: weird. Trump's speeches: weird.
There's alos a lot of dangerous stuff in there, but calling someone an existential threat to Democracy is kind of wordy...
I couldn't be happier. I had no knowledge of Walz beforehand. So I did my research, and boy, was I smiling. Talk about the antithesis of Vance. I heard someone say, Vance is Trump's Sarah Palin, and I tend to agree. And, hey, guess what? He has a cat! What's more, he's a very good orator. Heard him tonight and didn't get the sense that he was mean in his comments....only on-target. He isn't shying away from the "weird" orange man, yet his comments aren't cruel or gut punches, or ridiculing...they are just pointing out the ridiculous statements and the lies. Praise the Lord, I have hope....and hope y'all out there do, too. Oh, forgot....I love the "goody two-shoes." I really do.
Now it is Wednesday morning and I am avidly hoping for some aerial noon crowd coverage from Eau Claire, WI. Dear Daughter #1 ran into stopped traffic 4.6 miles from Eau Claire on back roads nearly 90 min. before the rally and missed the noon cutoff at 1 mile away.
