Every word enlightened. All lines true, observations endorsed.

Sununu, as usual, is of course emblematic of these morally bankrupt pretenders.

I know what you mean. I sometimes speak in front of a croud, most of whom I do not know. sometimes they make themselves part of the talk, and sometimes I cannot get a smile out out of them, but I do it anyway. thaks for todays post.

Nate Silver is convinced Trump will win. He has a gut feeling. Big time Wall Street investors want orange man to win for the green. We have to vote with confidence for a woman of hope, humor and decency who can prove all the "experts" wrong and help save America.

My husband & I voted early today. I had never seen such a long line at the Board of Elections. It was so well organized, we were done in 30 minutes. This is very blue Cuyahoga county, hope we can balance out rural Ohio.

Love this Liza—you have such an interesting life! My anxiety is through the roof! I have two fantasies: one that Kamala crushes him so badly that the race is called early in the evening; the other is that she barely wins, and we all ignore Trump and his antics and we speed ahead with business as usual. Our military can handle whatever Trump’s minions throw at us! He becomes a footnote in history.

Do you ever present at the Chautauqua Institute? I was there last week for part of their off-season lecture series and I loved it. Attendees would love you there!!! There is a week in summer 2025 about the election—you and your experiences over the last year would be perfect for that themed week!!

Humor, as we all know, is so subjective. One person can be holding her sides laughing, while another just sits there with an "I don't get it" expression. I think, too, it has to do with the atmosphere, where you are, and what the overall feeling of the room is. And some people just come vowing not to laugh. We love you; you make US laugh, and cry and think. So keep on putting those lines together and out there....and thinking humorously ... like you do. As some of us have mentioned before, it is what is keeping us sane during this, as the number one word of our recent time, "unprecedented" moment evolves.

When I put my mouse arrow over where you said to find the link, my browser showed me the address of the link. I never open a link that doesn't pass the smell test, what with Putin, Xi, and Kim playing fast and loose.

Wow!! Great post! You’re really living this. You captured where we are with great conviction and clarity. BTW.. the relative silence in your audience was a reflection of their awe and amazement in hearing your message. Silent applause !!

We are watching with trepidation up here in Canada. I listened to Ezra Klein’s latest podcast today. Wish he was being listened to by undecided voters. Thanks for all your postings. Always thought provoking and love your drawings.

I’m sure your “talk” was wonderful! They are very lucky to have you there. Sununu, who was portrayed by corporate media as a reasonable republican has exposed himself as a liar and a phony.

When I clicked the link, I got the Washington Post (no map) then I was blocked from reading their crap because I’m not a subscriber. Looking at the map you present, it appears our country may have Heart Disease. But I find the map encouraging. Tim Walz and Kamala are great “heart doctors.”
