Wonderful! These hit pretty close to home and I’m laughing. The note comparison reminded me of a moment (pre-children) in NYC when I made a date with my husband to meet at our favorite diner and review chores. With a “planning chart”. Hahahahaaaaaa. The fries were delicious at least.

Our next generation is growing fast and I can think of nothing better than to give them such an incredible wedding gift as your work. Some years away but filing the idea.

Yes, thanks for stepping away from politics and substituting these really funny cartoons. I'm struggling with a computer programming problem right now (what? at age 71? on a Friday afternoon? - as an old acquaintance used to say: c'est la fucking vie). But a good friend is coming to dinner (and bringing dessert - I almost wrote "desert" - why, do your suppose?) and a few of us are going to see the Taylor Swift movie tomorrow. So life is actually good. I've liked all of TayTay's hit songs except her first one, from the late 1880s if I remember right. But today, it's the marriage drawings. Why can't I do smiley faces and heart emojis on this site?

Thanks, Chuck! How was the dessert???? And I was totally ignorant of the Swift movie. Need to go read about that. I know she was touring, but a movie?

The dessert was excellent, made from scratch, thank you. The Swift move just came out this week, I believe. It's a beautifully done filming of the final performance in her latest U.S. tour. This is nothing at all like concerts people in our age group went to as youths. It's truly spectacular, and 100% Taylor -- with lots of dances and back-up singers and a big band, but she sings every song, and it's about 3 hours long. So if you see it, be prepared! And she is very likable, as well as talented.

I love all of these! Married for 47 years, and there have certainly been some tricky bits.

Marriage is pase. Both people change over time. It is a fact. No fault to either. Peace to all.

That is great to record unity in such a way. And the humor as we all need in partnership is so key. It’s not all gravy but knowing understanding as we best can as a partner is helpful. Enjoy the vision you see at the wedding L! Maybe the Macarena will blast once things get rolling!! 🤪 Or they raise the bride up on a chair and parade around!! let’s not forget the sweaty dress shirts, broken heels, and forehead tie trick .. lol ! Guess it all comes down to love ❤️ in the end.

Nice to see you, the Cat in the 'compare notes' drawing. It's been the cats who've made our marriage work for forty-five seasons.

In thirty-seven years of marriage I’ve experienced many moments of comedy, high and low. These cartoons cracked me up. Indeed, it reminded me of this:

Tom: “Sweetheart, would you like a glass of wine?”

Jackie: [Gives Tom a look.]

Tom: “Why are you looking at me like I’m an idiot?”

Jackie: “Because that was a stupid question.”

Hand on heart: true story. Liza, if you can turn it into a cartoon, I’ll waive royalties…
