For almost two decades, I have been a member of Cartooning for Peace, an international non-profit organization based in Paris. It began in 2005 at the United Nations in NYC, and I was invited to be there to speak about the power of cartoons in helping foster understanding and peace. This initiative is very dear to me, as I always hope that my drawings can bring people together and encourage dialogue. This is what CFP is all about.
Fantastic! Must be a thrill to see your drawing come to life! Does it make you want to learn animation yourself?
It is a thrill. I have done simple animation. Perhaps I will share here at some point. Wish I knew how to do it better!
Yay, I’m sure we would all love to see your animations, simple or otherwise! :-D
I’m sure there’s also a special thrill to see someone else embrace your cartoon and run with it, in this case literally making it fly! Super cool.
Congratulations.
We’ll done, beautiful!
That was cool!
Thanks, Bry!
