I love watching you do pen & ink. I experiemented with drawing that way when a teen - almost always ended up with at least one blotch. But after some time I got used to the blotches and didn't mind them. In my case I used many different colors of ink since I'm a lover of colors.
I love watching you draw all the way back to the days of “Periscope “ app. Besides your great drawings I’ve also enjoyed your talks and stories while drawing, sitting at outdoor cafes in Manhattan, stories about your horse at camp, etc. Relaxing, peaceful, and creating art.
So fun. Thank you for this. I would love to see more.
My husband and I were just traveling in Spain. I can't draw but I'm pretty good with a camera and with 'seeing things' in my own way. It's hard to be subtle with a camera---don't want people to notice that I'm focused on them. The way they are talking with one another or the shape of their hand...Anyway, I often thought to myself: How would Liza do this? How would she use her medium to capture this? And how can I make my photos and observations better as a result?...Namaste. D
Yes! So glad you're going to do these again. Really enjoyed them on Instagram!
Thank you, Scott!

Blotches can be great! And I agree, ink colors are fun, I sometimes play with that too. Do it again!
It was fun to watch you pull together an idea spontaneously out of thin air. Cat snobbery- it’s a thing!
I think it might be! Thanks!
It's so fun to see the actual process. Wish I had just an ounce of your creativity! I'm glad you'll be doing this more.

I love how this just evolved into something that holds together!
Viva la paper!

It’s the reason I started following you on IG. Always been fascinated by artistic processes.
