That is so right! It does seem that every day we are losing a little bit more. Hopefully we can start turning things around now and have more success in the mid-terms. The June 14th protests are important, as are all the other events that help build momentum!

And again, they are trying to come up with the most outrageous things to keep our minds from following what they are really doing. Unconscionable, stupid things like a reality show with immigrants vying for citizenship. This is truly inane and just meant to get us riled up while they do even more to steal our freedoms under cover. Oh my dawg. Hey, cute dog, says the cat lady.

And thank you so much for having Joy Reid's back. I was beyond disappointed when Rachel Maddow didn't resign in protest of her ouster. Who is left to stand up?

The lowest common denominator is getting even more lowered by these scared insecure little white Christian Nationalist fascistic males who can't stand the heat of diversity as beautiful as that heat is. On some level we can pity them but that has to happen later. Right now they simply have to be defeated in every court in every office in every city county and state in every cultural event and institution. Manning up has a new meaning - dare to support the rightnesses of democracy because until you do you really don't belong here. You have made yourself unfit, unwanted, and absolutely ridiculous.

Indeed it’s true that silence is complicity. The biggest scandal in American political history, the attempted coverup of Joe Biden’s physical and mental incapacity, was a conspiracy of silence. I’m a third of the way through Tapper and Thompson’s book, “Original Sin.” The number of people who saw clearly that Biden was losing his marbles and said nothing about it is just staggering. White House staffers, Members of Congress, Democratic Party officials, campaign operatives, donors, journalists—with very few exceptions, they saw, were appalled, and yet said nothing. And you know what? All that denial, all that gaslighting and lying, facilitated the Trump restoration. That’s what is known as an irony of history: They got what they were trying to prevent.
