As you might expect, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE. I've seen the cat on a tray before and it just makes me LOL. I also love the name "Mitty," of course, because it rhymes with kitty... like our rescue dog, "Miss Kitty." I am so grateful for the opportunity to enjoy your work. It certainly lightens a sometimes dark world, and for that,I thank you. And I'm sure Mitty will be the inspiration for many more cat toons. Merry Cat-mas from the Nolans.
Unsurprisingly, I adore all of these drawings! You and cats are kindred spirits, Liza! I am excited to learn more about Mitty (great namesake BTW) the new kitty!
They all resonate here - we had to lock up one of our earlier cats before meals or she would wind up on a dinner plate waiting for us to serve her. And the ball - we were in take-the cat-to-the-emergency vet mode - when a marble went missing..
I rarely question your decisions, but making someone's name rhyme with their job is borderline cruel. Kiity Mitty? I would never do that. Maybe the cat will do Klaus Mouse a solid and put an end to him
And, speaking of smart cats, I am reminded of my sister's NJ cat that would travel solo back and forth between homes after parents divorced and the kids would switch back and forth. We should have interviewed the cat, midnight, to ask how she made the mile long trip. We suspect she might of hopped a freight train that was near both houses.
And now a local farmer up the street is giving away bags of greens including a new plant: tatsoi. Meanwhile, I am friends with Jules Rabin who has baked and taught college at Goddard College for 40 years. He is 99 and does pushups. Both are community anchors and beloved. As these dear friends show, we can build peace through our daily community actions.
A more humane vision than the cat who ate the canary.
See you Caturday.

Love them!.
Ha! Was the marble where you suspected?
It was under the couch. Of course.
Good cartoons, and I'm not even a cat person.
HIgh praise, thank you!

The sunglasses! That is one cool kitty.
