This is an absolutely marvelous post. Yes, the nap. So so important. Thank you for everything. As always, you mix elegance, whimsy, fact, and timelessness, all woven into a tiny swatch of tapestry. It’s beautiful that you recognized and continue to recognize your calling. We’re all so grateful.

The pigeons look great. If the Supreme Court gets enlarged, I could imagine all of them being nominated. Not that they're qualified, but does that matter any more? Especially when they already look the part.

Stellar Journey and Post Collection you have been including us in, Liza! It has been one of my Substack highlights all of 2024 into 2025. I will continue to enjoy your work, but through a Lifestage Journey of my own. As of February 15th, 2025, I will be following along from Ajijic, Mexico where I will begin to spend more future time.

Thank you for the drawings and pictures! Glimpses of life far from here and in my second-favorite American city are always great to see. I would, however, have a hard time with the cold-57 years of living in Georgia has really thinned my yanked blood. My favorite American city, by the way, is St Louis-a blend of the North and the South.

Correction: yanked should be yankee!

I Love the feelings I have from your sketches. They are so inviting and communicate the ordinary in an extraordinary way. Having only been to NY city when very young I enjoy your photos so much. Love the one of you sitting and drawing and also the three of you wonderful women. You bring me hope today because you show the honorable in people.

Oh I love this post. The blend of sketches and photos is so fantastic. I was at an exhibit last Saturday over by Hudson Yards and I saw the giant pigeon sculpture over there - have you seen it? It completely cracks me up. And the fountain at Bryant - I could not believe the way the ice turned it into a completely new work of art. Congrats to you all on nearing the end of filming - love the magic you all are creating.

The pigeons seem to have their own social distancing rules? Hope your fingers thawed.
