So good! How about a sequel with him IN the pot while stirring it?

I think witches will understand. I find the the mention of Jordan as a possible Speaker to be repulsive.

Among many concerns it seems both Jordan and Gaetz are sock puppets for Trump.

I feel exactly the same. Jordan is a difficult person to stomach for me.

Loving the hat in the 2nd drawing. Gets more Shakespearean with each iteration. And while I do blame Trump, bigly, it is also the fault of his many enablers, and perhaps even more so the enablers in the previous generation, those who encouraged and stood by assclowns like Spiro Agnew, Newt Gingrich, and Sarah Palin, among others. It's like so many parables about people letting evil grow just a little bit at a time, until it is totally beyond their control, and they, too, become victims. Democrats have not done this. or if they have, it isby supporting increased goodness and acceptance, especially toward minorities and have-nots of all kinds, that's looks evil to the Establishment. I believe and trust that this is the path that will eventually save us.

I couldn't agree more. Nixon, Agnew (ugh), Gingrich. And I fault Reagan for a lot of the tone of our country as well, i.e. entitlement.

And I totally agree with the miscreants you added. And we both know we're barely scratching the surface.

You capture the Trump story in these images and it’s depressing. As an Oregonian I received an email from our Congressman Bluemenauer in which he described the recent events and signed it “Courage”. May we find it.

Yes. Courage is needed right now.

That tie... you captured its symbolism and ridiculousness in such an amazing way! And the bulk under the cape. Fiendish.

Thanks for the Trump news and for your concern for our feelings as witches!! It is a little insulting tho .. do you remember the spells witches were putting on Trump when he was first elected?

I think there was or is an app that changes images of the orange man into a cat. This way you can stop yourself from gagging every time you see his face. Your depiction of him would be the only one I wouldn't change...but that would be after dinner. Travel mercies.

Trump may be the most troubling of truly evil types in the US. He enters our hearts like poison and his following finds meaning in dehumanizing others.

As hard as it is to admit, his ways are rooted in our history (Remember Medgar Evers and the white freedom fighters who died in the 60s) "Orange one" preys on divides deeply rooted in our history (violent personal heterosexism; patriarchy; racism; ableism; white supremacy; profound greed and more). We do not need a list; our hearts tell us about him and our divided country.

We can be better. I have a picture of Rosa Parks in my house. She was a mighty fighter and her efforts were made lasting by thousand of people of color and determined white allies across the south. Let's make sure our kids know about Rosa and so many others of all classes, colors, and identities. (Hint to you Liza! smile)

Leaves are (somehow) orange, green, red and yellow, with specs of black. Gloriously alive. Liza's earlier leaf vendors would be delighted.....

I know, sadly its true. I am listening to Meecham's bio of LIncoln and all that history of our country before, during and after the Civil War: it's so connected. It is sad that we are still fighting these battles, but encouraging that there are people doing the good work, the good trouble. Like Rosa Parks. I have drawn her, and will again at some point. Thanks for putting it in the forefront of my mind.

Who will they follow when he is gone... reminds me of that scene in Forrest Gump when he suddenly quit running and then the pack who followed him blindly said, “now what are we supposed to do!” or something, I paraphrase. These are elected representatives who are supposed to be able to LEAD, and yet their one and only skill is their ability and willingness to follow. It must be a very sad, hollow existence.
