lol Liza you are so right about the NYT taking its own advice !!

I wish we would do a citizen's arrest immediately on little Elon. so as to stop the damage now. All legal measures are excellent but int eh meantime... a nice immediate little arrest would be nice.

Thanks, as always. I look forward to seeing Kennedy Center Honors each year. Dont want to imagine who the Chaieman will nominate this year. Ruining my life in bits each day.

Liza, another great cartoon and an equally great take on the news. I also recommend Maureen Dowd's column today which nails the thieves trying to steal our government.

One of the things I do when it all gets overwhelming is play online Spider Solitaire. It is amazing how it calms the mind. Suddenly the world shrinks to "where should I put that card?"

I suggest deporting the immigrant Melania to Guantanamo.

I can see him now, preening from the balcony at The Kennedy Center in one of Melania’s hats, wearing his fake closed-mouth smile as he waves to the audience of sycophants. Elon stands next to him, his white, mask-like face offering an eerie contrast to Dear Leader’s. The new “Othello,” starring Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal, has taken a break from its sold out run on Broadway for this one night. The curtain rises, and Trump’s chin drops on his red tie….

I am reminded of a cat who wanted it all. Old greedy guts. Putting a handful of food to its mouth, saying here it is! EAT IT! EAT IT EAT IT ALL! Cat quit misbehaving.

Felon 47 isn't as smart as that cat but I'd volunteer for the job in a hot minute. Did I mention I have a rich fantasy life?

Liza, important compendium of news. Thank you. Certainly Lacking in etiquette and wisdom that Trump seeks to take over Kennedy Center. Music and opera, ballet and art aren’t to be censored. Very offensive to our human expression.

Thank you for all of the links, videos, suggestions for reading, and a reminder to laugh - it is free, but I wish I had something to laugh about. Some of the .... stuff coming out of 47 mouth would be laughable if it weren't so scary. I don't think he realizes what a buffoon he is and how ignorant he is - especially about "water." Anyway, my beagle, Seabee, makes me laugh every day. His favorite chair is the same one my husband likes to sit in. So, as soon as he leaves the house - up jumps Seabee. My oldest granddaughter stayed with us a few nights ago and asked a curious question. "When you get married, do you run out of things to talk about? Will I if I get married?" We said no. We've been married for almost 55 years and dated six before that. She is very observant. We didn't laugh while she was there, but the next day, we couldn't help ourselves after she left to go back to work and college. I guess the point is that we don't have a lot to talk about because we almost know what each other is thinking - that is laughable - sometimes - in itself!
