Love the joyful photo celebrating a degree of freedom. I'm not wearing a mask anymore, but still won't eat in crowed resturants. Too many anti-vaxers out there. Unfortune that your mayor has been indicted. I have a dim view of almost all politicians these days. Sorry I will miss the live drawing today.
I am so sorry to say I will miss your live drawing today, as I am teaching a class at that time--Please do it again soon as I love watching you draw live. Thanks for sharing your art with the world!
Liza, I did get the notification and connected to your ‘live’ drawing at 1pm ET - but then acc accidentally hit a key that took me to the right - and disconnected me. There was no way to then reconnect. I doubt there is anything YOU can do about that in the future, but if we can find out if there is a ‘live’ URL that would probably be good to have. le And yes - such a good idea
A crowded train brings back fond memories of Inauguration Day for President Obama. Each train was packed and people were delighted! They sang, talked to perfect strangers, and shared their happiness for what was about to happen later that day. I loved that experience as much as I loved participating in the run-up to the election. And now we’re doing it again…a bit older but just as enthusiastic!
I missed your live drawing! and no good excuse at all except distraction- (I’d say it was age related but I get a Bronx cheer whenever I use it at home)..please do it again sometime!
And I do love that drawing - the sense of normalcy (that has yet to entirely return here).
Gosh! You've nailed happiness in NY. To think I miss the joy of packing into those subway cars like sardines!
Hahahahaaaaa
Thanks, D.L.! RIght?
Totally 😉

Great picture of the public that public servants are supposed to be serving.

I will do it this week, and let you all know when. Thanks, Patris!
Bummer--at work; missed the live event. The subway was a personal favorite of mine, lo these many years ago--when I lived near one-- great image!
